So what is that all about? The next morning we go to get our free breakfast and was told we were not suppose to have the vouchers that that staff doesn't work the front desk he only suppose to work the bistro. Come to find out the hotel and restaurant share liquor license and customers can bring drinks from the restaurant to the hotel and vice versa. Few minutes later the manager comes over and says their liquor license is very strict and we had to leave the restaurant and drink our wine in the lobby. The hostess asked if it came from the hotel we told her yes and she said ok and sat us. We informed her we would like a table we all had glasses of wine which was complimentary from the hotel. Once again assuming we didn't have money. Instead of her telling us the specials she said they have a bar menu and we can sit it at the bar and have a burger. It took the hostess about ten minutes to come talk to us and then she asked if we were eating there we told her we were still deciding we just wanted to see what was on the menu. We decided to check out the restaurant downstairs called the Hyde Park. Our room was equipped with a motion sensor that controls the heat so if you do continuously move the room will cool down and get cold. When we got to our floor which was on the fourth floor it was absolutely freezing in the hallway. One of my friends said something about the treatment so far and the staff offered us free breakfast and free drink voucher. The worst customer service ever, and even though there are many blacks employed they have been trained to discriminate against other black patrons. We were very surprised seeing this hotel was suppose to have good reviews, but this is not true. He then proceeded checking in another friend with my group and double charged her credit card because instead of paying attention to the transaction he was already doing, he would stop each time more customers would come in and tell my friend please wait so he can take care of them. Every group that checked in after us was never told the rules of the hotel nor were they told about the restaurant's prices or dress code. Not to mention we have money, but for some reason he assumed we didn't. We could not understand why he felt the need to tell us all this seeing we were all 40 years and older. The attendant at the desk who was also African American began giving us a run down of all these rules about partying, making noise and that the restaurant in the hotel was five star and the menu starts at $50 and requires a dress code. From the time we walked in we were racially profiled. Some friends and I visited this hotel to celebrate a birthday. I can hardly wait to go back to Cleveland and stay at this place! More Show less The hotel also offers their own in-house restaurant and room service. The icing on the cake is the Hyde Park steakhouse attached to the hotel which was Downtown Chicago steakhouse quality. The front desk team, mainly Tom, were extremely helpful and made the stay very pleasant. Simple and beautifully done, 5 star accommodations for the same price as the bland chains and their "one room" suites. This place is over-the-top in quality fixtures and furnishing with two full bathrooms with quartz countertops, two large flat screen TVs, contemporary furnishings, awesome art and stylish area rugs on a faux hardwood floor. One, Hotel Indigo, appeared to be newly renovated and a new name to the area so I booked it. When booking for the most recent trip I was specifically looking for a suite with a separate bedroom and only found two offerings. We come out to the East Cleveland suburbs on occasion to visit friends and relatives and usually stay at any number of bland chains that claim to be "suite" hotels but are not anything close to it.

Socially, Lavenders tend to be lone wolves. To them, money is merely something they need to spend to acquire something. They don’t see being financially capable as a yardstick for measuring success. When it comes to financial matters, Lavenders have a straightforward attitude. Despite all that, the real strength of Lavenders is their courage and unwillingness to conform to social norms. Most of them don’t have the physical and emotional capacity to be responsible for other people. People with a lavender aura color aren’t born leaders, and they usually don’t do well in professions that require teamwork. In general, bearers of this aura color prefer working in quiet, low-stress environments. Therefore, it’s hardly surprising that most Lavenders are writers, artists, designers, directors, dancers, actors, and the likes.īecause they’re also highly attuned to higher spiritual frequencies, some Lavenders become spiritual advisors or healers. People with a lavender aura color thrive in professions that require creativity and imagination. Therefore, the challenge for them is to find balance when it comes to navigating their dream world and reality. As previously mentioned, their thoughts are scattered, and they find it hard to function in the real world. People with a lavender aura are the least centered and least spiritually grounded. They also tend to escape reality and resort to more daydreaming. On the contrary, when their energy is unbalanced, bearers of the lavender aura have difficulty in digesting analytical concepts and structured beliefs. They can explore infinite possibilities and inspire other people in the process. When empowered, those with a lavender aura can express themselves without limitations (all the more if they listen to their intuition and ask guidance from their spirit guides). Meditating, enjoying soft music, and lighting scented candles are some of the activities they love doing. Therefore, they prefer staying in their comfort zones because it helps them protect themselves from the harshness of reality.īecause of their sensitive and imaginative nature, Lavenders enjoy things that calm them and, at the same time, stimulate their imagination. People with a lavender aura are sensitive and despise conflicts. This curiosity, combined with their strong intuition, allows them to connect with higher spiritual beings and higher dimensions. Lavenders also think outside of the box, and they’re curious about the things that go beyond the material world. In other words, they have the power to make the (seemingly) impossible possible. At times, they get too caught up in their dream world to the point that they have difficulty adjusting to their real lives.Īlthough people with a lavender aura prefer living in their dreamland, they have this unique ability that enables them to turn their fantasies and dreams into reality. On Lavender Aura Personality and Behaviorīearers of a lavender aura are inherently imaginative, creative, and idealistic. This color encourages one to be patient and take their precious time when handling things in life. It’s a feminine and delicate color, and it brings inspiration, enhances creativity, and promotes tranquility. Many also regard lavender as a unique color that represents elegance and sophistication. Its soft, gentle hue exudes an optimistic, innocent, and childlike feel. Lavender is one of the many shades of purple that leans on the lighter side. Button loaders are effective instruments for keeping your users engaged whenever they login. It might seem like a tiny micro-interaction, but its effect can be quite broad. You have probably experienced this whenever you login to some of your mobile apps. This is definitely a nifty element to have in your next freelancer project. In some apps, it has been used for scrolling through photos. It can be used to dismiss notifications, to archive content or delete content from your feed. Framer has an excellent out of the box solution for this. Therefore, it’s important to continue this action by allowing users to be able to dismiss items through the swipe functionality as well. For example, many users scroll through apps by swiping upwards or downwards. The swipe action is important because it continues the user’s interaction with that particular app. The list item swipe action is one of the best micro-interactions ever invented. This creates a seamless user experience that radiates the ease of using your app. The beauty to it is that they can be designed to fit your application’s design pattern. You can also animate the resultant icon after the pull action has been initiated (another micro-interaction), depending on your preferences. It also complements and continues the swiping action whenever your users want to refresh their list. Instead of having to introduce new elements, you can enable your users to pull down the list to refresh it. Pull to refresh is a common and intuitive micro-interaction in many applications. You can easily design your own button by using this tutorial. This allows end users to know they have successfully submitted a particular action. Buttons need some sort of visual element that portrays the clicking action whenever a user taps on it. Even users with low levels of computer literacy will be able to find their way based on their interaction with buttons.Īction buttons are important in applications, not because of their functionality, but the sort of micro-interaction that users experience when clicking on it. These buttons allow users to take action based on the information shown on it. They often represent a particular action, and may at times contain several other actions. The Framer tool provides an easy way of implementing this in your projects.Īction buttons are a must-have in any application. Its usefulness can be debated as it depends on the site or app you’re using, but most users find it interesting and exciting to interact with. For example, you might have encountered a page where hovering on a particular button leads to a list of animated icons popping out. Hover animations are widely used in applications, and can significantly add points to your overall design. Framer has an excellent tool that allows developers to create switches right out of the box, and to customize it to their own design. Switches can also be designed to match the overall app’s design. This is important, especially in mobile applications. Instead of just having an off and on button, interactive switches can be used to provide visual feedback to your users. They allow users to toggle between two mutually exclusive states. Switches are excellent visual elements in any application. Micro-interactions can enhance user experience if used properly, but they can also be a reason for users to abandon your app if wrongly placed.Īre you ready to jumpstart your project? Here are 10 simple micro-interactions that can make your app ‘alive’. With Framer, you can easily design any type of micro-interaction you would want your app to have.īefore you think of placing micro-interactions on your prototype, you should always consider your end users and how they will interact with your app. It has an easy to use interface that allows designers to bring their designs to ‘life’. These elements, known as micro-interactions, may seem tiny and negligible at first, but can significantly affect end-user experience.įramer is one such tool that can be used by app developers and designers. UX design requires a lot of attention to tiny details.
